TRAIN ME before the record
Section I identifies “TRAIN ME” [DEMO] as part of the forthcoming Strange Case of the Electronic Lover. Like the “Abiogenesis” publication three days earlier, the page is stamped as being shot on location in Lost Eros, CA.
TURN OFF
The largest narrative movement follows a man whose waking life is almost entirely screen-mediated: notifications, remote work, video clients, technical failure, digital dismissal, an empty apartment and a relationship ending through a pixelated face. He then meets Yoyo and turns personal refusal into escalating infrastructure sabotage, ending with a global blackout and a “New World Analog.”
The fantasy refuses a stable heroic reality. After the final instruction “Now we listen,” the narrative says the protagonist has been long dead and Yoyo never existed. The return to direct sensory life is therefore staged through fiction that withdraws its own characters at the point of apparent liberation.
Fifteen arcana
After the narrative, the page continues through lyric/poetic sections on hell, tuning, blackmail, discard piles, money, yoga nidra, California and formal collapse. The result is not a short story illustrated by a song or a song promoted by a story; the two modes occupy one publication and continuously recode each other.

Enumerated accumulation
The screen-bound subject “has a name but it doesn’t matter. He has some numbers and they do.” Quantity, timestamps, notifications and work metrics help turn the person into an administrable surface. See Quantified Authority.
