Not a placeholder
Live Player/Dead Serious is a forthcoming JQD record already functioning publicly as an unfinished web object. The supplied LP/DS page identifies itself as live · incomplete · continuously updated · subject to change without notice; it is therefore best documented as a record in active public mutation rather than as a fixed announced track list.
The current interface is a purpose-built player: a 51-row track list, per-track notes, an optional lyric panel, previous/play/next controls and a persistent scrubber. Audio files are requested directly from the JQD GitHub audio repository. The page does not hide its provisional state behind release-copy language: the provisional state is the current public form.
Current public snapshot
As supplied for this wiki pass, the player contains 51 tracks. 39 expose lyric text in the right-hand panel; 12 currently present no lyric text and are labeled by the interface as instrumental when opened. Because the site declares itself continuously updated, this table is a snapshot rather than a claim about final sequence, final count or final titles.

Internal routes back into the larger corpus
- Billy Ocean (Pagoda Benz) carries the PAGODA BENZ name directly into the record.
- Dead West is explicitly paired on the site with Scaled Alps' Southerly; Wilt in Place is paired with Neo Noir.
- Hostage Telethon reuses a title already central to Starvation Artist in a Hostage Telethon.
- Object Apollinaire, Stihilism, Prosperity Gospel, Set/Setting, Case Study Nº9 and The Hard Problem pull existing intellectual, project and formal vocabularies back into song titles.
- Maudlin Analog, Advanced Music and Only Child are among the previously documented LP/DS additions now present in the live player.
Current object versus development concept
Earlier project development explored a listener-reorderable, amputable album-object and a 52-face physical/digital polyhedral model. The current public site should not be misdescribed as already implementing that entire concept: what exists in the supplied snapshot is a 51-track linear web player. The wiki therefore keeps development concept and current public implementation distinct.
Why LP/DS belongs near the front of the wiki
The project condenses several recurrent JQD practices without becoming reducible to them: released-yet-unfinished form, recipient control, interface-as-artwork, music as a mutable container, old titles returning in new media, and a public record that can change while people are already listening to it. The simplest description remains the most important one: it is a JQD record.
Lyric architecture in the current snapshot
The present 51-track player exposes lyrics for 39 tracks, yielding about 2,584 recoverable lyric words across 514 lines. Compared with Peak and LTAP, LP/DS carries longer sentence-bearing bars, more body/place/law/status vocabulary and a stronger second-person grammar. It increasingly places speakers and addressees inside roads, bars, stores, cars, injuries, money, policing and ordinary social action.
Several current tracks are also intertextual nodes: The Host is printed nearly in full inside Sevened; Set/Setting shares an exact passage with Night Blooming Jasmine (𝟤𝟨 𝘋𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴); Mesmer is embedded in Sketches of San Lucero; Ys shares its core with A Song is Instructions for Itself. See Lyric Intertextual Atlas.
Earlier standalone release states
Several current LP/DS tracks have their own prior public release histories. See LA ST LIGHTING/Nightblooming Jasmine, L.A.P.I./Sorrow is a Sword, Barbarossa, Set/Setting and The Host. The player is therefore a site of reincorporation as well as new publication.
