Release structure
Released July 24, 2025, the public package is ten tracks / approximately seventeen minutes: six LA ST LIGHTING versions followed by four Nightblooming Jasmine versions.

Speed is not secondary metadata
The July 10 source publication already presents LA ST LIGHTING through .8x / 1x / 1.2x style divisions. The later release expands that logic. Changing playback rate alters duration, pitch, vocal body, rhythmic feel, intelligibility and affect simultaneously. The “mix” names then assign each transformed rate a conceptual or imagistic identity. A numerical speed factor becomes a semantic and sensory instruction.
Two songs, ten perceptual objects
This is a useful companion to ideasthesia / cross-modal thinking without being reducible to synaesthesia. A base recording is repeatedly recategorized by speed and title: 33° Hood Cryptid, Rolled Doll, Final Boss, Parfum Intenso, Nocturnum, Hi-Flite Up All Night, Fuck the Club Up. The listener is asked to hear rate-change through an idea.
Later reincorporation
The current LP/DS player contains normalized-title versions as Night Blooming Jasmine and LA St. Lighting, with lyrics exposed in the player. The standalone speed-suite is therefore not superseded; it is an earlier release state in the songs' continuing lineages.
Visual development
The collected visual archive contains an LA ST LIGHTING design study combining a literal recessed lighting fixture labeled LA ST LIGHTING, tall night palms, poolside social space, a classic convertible and an EGODETH California plate. Its layered panels treat the release title simultaneously as street/civic abbreviation, hardware label, illumination, locality and graphic object.
