Bandcamp-only / storefront archaeology
The Bandcamp archive also exposes titles such as article №0, Wound of Winds, Selves Unravel to Vapor, Enmeshed, I Have Called To Say Goodbye, Postamericanbassmusic, You “Live” Now As a Prism Entity Aboard a Crystal Ship, Godsend Destroyer, Slow Role (Giorgio) and Ass Ended Master. These remain in the register as release archaeology even where a current streaming counterpart has not yet been reconciled.
Genre metadata is unstable evidence
Public services classify different JQD releases as funk, singer/songwriter, alternative, hip-hop/rap, jazz and electronica. These labels are useful evidence about distribution metadata but poor evidence for a single stable genre identity. The musical corpus is better mapped through actual sound, process, lineage and use.
What still needs recovery
Cover images, exact dates and lyrics are not equally recoverable for every row. The encyclopedia now records those absences rather than allowing an absent image or storefront module to masquerade as an absent work.
