Modular form

The work announces that its sections do not necessarily have anything to do with one another, then uses that permission aggressively: separate verbal systems, parenthetical clang chains, image-refusal language, performance documentation and persona writing sit beside one another without being forced into a single argument.

Performing “Train Me”

Section 11, “PERFORMING EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC AT THE TACO SHOP,” documents JQD and Talkie Night “experiencing technical difficulties and difficult techniques” while performing “Train Me” from the recently released Strange Case of the Electronic Lover beneath the palapa at Best Fish Taco in Ensenada. Footage is credited to Kyle Vaughan.

This is the clearest documented live afterlife of the four-track project in the published writing chronology. It also converts the earlier release's polish/technology problem into an actual performance scene where difficulty and technical failure are named as part of the event.

Image refusal

Elsewhere the work states “JQD does not consent photographically,” pushing the longer aniconism thread into explicit consent language rather than merely a preference not to be photographed.
