Walking and composition
The canyon appears not only as scenery but as a route through which thought, intoxication, physical effort and project planning move. This makes it especially useful for connecting geography to the corpus’s walking and movement practices.
Production geography
Later works use Beachwood Canyon as an explicit dateline or production location. The place therefore belongs simultaneously to biography, method and the finished work’s documentary frame.
