Repetition is one of the main ways continuity is established without forcing the corpus into a single genre. A phrase can return as motto, footer, joke, instruction, biography, ad, lyric or interface command; its meaning changes because its surroundings change.

Fixed language as chassis
The most frequent repeated language is often not “literary” language at all. Corporate bios, bylines, location credits and routing commands function like a chassis under surfaces that otherwise change radically.
Exact cross-medium migrations
LTAP migration ledger and EGOTERRORISM migration ledger separate documented phrase movement from looser conceptual rhyme. This distinction is essential: a line that literally migrates from prose into a lyric is a different relation from two works independently returning to the same problem.

Language making
