Training lineage
Yamagata belongs to a wrestling culture in which holds can be demonstrations, disciplinary tools or actual punishment. The protagonist’s education therefore begins with a problem that follows the entire serial: legitimate competence may live inside a rotten labor culture.
Function in the origin story
The dojo is where prospective wrestlers arrive with bodies, ambitions and half-built gimmicks and are forced into contact with the practical requirements of the trade. Vacío Arpista’s eventual identity means more because it emerges from that environment rather than appearing fully formed.
