Japan appears through concrete acquired objects, Tokyo retail/gallery memory, wrestling speculation and linguistic play. It should not be reduced to a single “Japanese influence” category because the sources use it as multiple distinct lived and cultural registers.
Local specificity
Setagaya and Tokyo appear by name, giving the international geography sub-city granularity comparable to the Los Angeles layer.
