The imprint demonstrates an early interest in treating the label around a work as part of the work. Its visual identity borrows the authority and recognition of existing record-label design while mutating it into a personal institutional language.
Relation to BLUE HELL
The relationship is genealogical rather than a simple rename. Both use institutional identity as expressive material, but BLUE HELL later expands much further into production, web and operating infrastructure.
