Things the ledger refuses to merge
The 2022 Kid of Licking County and the 2026 Kid in Death City share a generic role-name but are not treated as one person. Likewise, repeated common names, thematic echoes, source-card “Share” links and similar situations do not establish narrative identity by themselves.
