| Figure / program | Role |
|---|---|
| KID A / KID B | Child players whose conversation makes the remembered game a social scene rather than an isolated screen. |
| Cagliostro | Lizard player-character in the boss sequence; knocked down, thrown and submitted while the player searches for a winning input pattern. |
| V.A.G.U.S. | Apparently terminal boss whose defeat reveals another layer instead of closure. |
| Lucifer Lucchese Jones | Serpentine post-boss revealed after V.A.G.U.S. dies and the screen inverts. |
| Marty Gemelli | Adult interruption at the player's door; rejects the proposition that the computer can cheat. |
| THE VANMEN | Four numbered fragments: argument, unmarked vans, a drunken shooting, doctrine and portable catastrophe. |
| HOOKER | Elderly wrestling tough who remembers Jock Ramses, diminished height and eyesight, then lectures a youth swarm to commit crimes. |
| Jock Ramses | Old wrestling antagonist remembered through robes, boas, police escorts and insults. |
| Wimpo da Popsicko | Teen gang leader in HOOKER. |
| Shyguy / Mathieu-David Joseph | Leaderboard body in THE FUCKER: replacement parts, livestreamed sex, audience commentary and $79.95 replicas. |
The abrupt changes of register are themselves part of the point: a home-console memory becomes wrestling oral history, logistics conspiracy, youth-gang comedy and platformized sex without leaving the language of play.
